We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Anthony Smrekar of Lockport, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Smrekar and Frances Smrekar (Papesh); and his brother David Smrekar. He is survived by: his wife Janice (Novak); his daughters, Carolyn Randall (Brandt), Patricia Kelly (Sean) and Janet Slomka (Richard); and his siblings, Robert Smrekar (Judy), Geraldine Grivetti (late Robert), Marianne Judy Smrekar (late David) and Frances Mutz (Rick). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tony's memory to Lightways Hospice.
