She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmo Higgins and Betty Maxine Higgins (Hudelson); her former husband David Karlson; and her daughter Rebecca May. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey May (April) of Ewing, MO, Todd May of Mt. Olive, IL, Kevin May (Jennifer) of Roswell, NM. and Rachel Warfield of Louisville, KY.; her siblings, Elmo "Larry" Higgins of Quincy, IL. and Margaret Hills (Ernest) of Litchfield; and her grandchildren, Matthew May (Anastacia), Crystal May, Jeffery May, Alicia Hose (Andrew), Rebeka May, Ty Bateman, Cameron Dunn, Zachary May (Catherine), Stephen May (Kayla), Brendan Kampwerth, Emily May, Luke Crawford and Levi Crawford.
