He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Edward and Dora Dressen (Linthicum); his spouse Jean Caroline Laws; his siblings, Harry Edward Dressen, Jr., Mary Dressen, Clementine Frick, Grace Melton and William Dressen; his brother-in-law Louis Frick (Jim Melton); his grandson Jimmy Dressen (Jeff Klaustermeier); and his great grandchild Deacon Krefft.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Dressen-Krefft (Donald) of Litchfield, IL, Dr. Frederick Joseph Dressen (Joni) of Riverton, Lisbeth Ann Klaustermeier (James "Jim") of Benld, IL, Douglas James Dressen (Karyl) of Coffeen, IL and Caroline Neta Thompson (Gary) of Madison, WI; his grandchildren, Laura Hall, Gregory, Paul Dressen, Jill Delgado, Dustin Krefft and Brad Klaustermeier; and his sister-in-law Carol Dressen of Decatur, IL..
