It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Midge Irene Weatherford of Litchfield, Illinois, born in Nokomis, Illinois, who passed away on October 23, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Hicks and Estell LaVeda Hicks (Sanders); her brother Elmer Hicks; and her grandchildren, Amanda Amos and Dustin Trimble.
She is survived by: her former husband Donald "Bill" Jacobs; her daughters, Vicki Friesland of Litchfield, Brenda Haines of Litchfield and Dena Bryant of Litchfield; her sister-in-law Sandy Hicks; her grandchildren, Toni Lowenthal (Robert), Colt Trimble, Jacob Amos, Angela, Courtney Massey and Carly Knuth (Justin); her great grandchildren, Breanna, Ryliegh, Hoyt Trimble, AshLynn Fritz (Drew), Taylor, Tabby, Colson, Laney, Silas Trimble, Tristan, LaVeda Noel Gauen, Jayden, Faylynn, Luna, Jack Amos, Susan Odorizzi, Teddy, Beau, Marleigh, Corbyn Massey and Brickson Knuth; her great great grandchildren, Kyson, Ayden, Corbyn Fritz and LaVeda Antonia Gauen; and her daughter Zara (Seth Tooley).
The family has requested any memorials to be made out to Montgomery County Cancer Association.
