He was predeceased by: his parents, John Martin and Cleo Marie Jett (Taylor); his children, Walter Eugene Jett, Julie Golden and Robert Jett; and his siblings, John, Tom, Gerald, Pearl, Earl, Harold, Elsie Jett, Bernice Fenton and Etta Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Jeffers; his children, Richard Jett of Greenfield, Sue Eller (Dennis), Tim Jett (Della) of Davenport Iowa, Thomas James Jett of Coffeen, Tena Cooks of Davenport Iowa, Kenneth J. Jett Jr. (Brendan Berg) and Scott Jett (Tara) of Litchfield; and his sister-in-law Ginger Jett of Litchfield. He is also survived by numerous Grandchildren, great Grandchildren and Great-great Grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to South Side Church in Litchfield.
