It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joshua Aaron Burdell of Litchfield, Illinois, born in Hillsboro, Illinois, who passed away on February 7, 2024, at the age of 42, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Linda Kay Burdell (Smith); his brother Kevin Burdell; and his grandparents, Wilbur, Mary Katherine Smith (Wilson), Harry and Bernadine Burdell (Wall).
He is survived by: his wife Aimee Nicole Toberman; his sons, Isaiah and Noah Burdell; his father Mark Burdell; his siblings, David Burdell (Tara) of Chatham and Shannon Diveley (Charles) of Litchfield; his sister-in-law Stephanie Burdell of Hillsboro; his in-law Mike Toberman (Terry) of Litchfield; and his brother-in-law Ben Toberman (Katie) of Taylorville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, a great niece, and two great nephews.
