He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Edward and Lorene Katherine Wendt (Knutson); and his brother Robert Wendt. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Gary Wendt (Colleen) of Carlinville and Susan Sperry (Donald) of La Grange, NC.; his grandchildren, Rory Sperry, Shawn Sperry and Christine Bray (Shane); and his great grandchildren, Carter Bray and Roman Bray.
The family asks for memorials to be directed to First Presbyterian Church in Litchfield.
