James Vernon Davis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Vernon Davis of Litchfield, Illinois, born in Overland, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 31, 2024 at the age of 97. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Davis and Ora Mae Davis; his brothers, Marvin Davis, Robert Davis, Virgil Davis and Dave Davis; and his great grandchild Alexis Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Miller (Randy) of Taylorville, IL, Ruth Childers of Carlinville, IL, Daniel of Carlinville, IL, Roy of Carlinville, IL and Jim Davis of Carlinville, IL; and his sister Thelma Crider (Carolyn Mills Bogue) of Wellsville, MO. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
