He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Perkins and Edna Perkins (Brooks); his son James Dressen; and his siblings, Lloyd Perkins, James Perkins, Ed Perkins and Christine Perkins.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Jean Sharp; and his children, Floyd Perkins (Christine) of Litchfield, Heath Perkins (Bo) of Springfield, Ill, Joyce Reece (Sean) of Pilot, Virginia and Kelli Slater of Springfield. He is also survived by 14 grand children and 8 great grand children.
The family suggests memorials may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital, St. Louis and Paws Care of Montgomery County.
