Ellen L. Clelland Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ellen L. Clelland of Litchfield, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 7, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Argale Henry and Verda Blanche Watts (Hall); her husband James Jameson Clelland, Jr.; her sons, Steve, James, III and Donald "Grover" Clelland; and her siblings, Charles Watts, Mildred, Anna May Watts, Juanita Goff, Norma Watts and Erma Niehaus.
She is survived by: her children, David Clelland of Glen Carbon, IL, Gail Piggott (Rick) of Long Grove, IL and Linda Clelland of Litchfield; her siblings, Arthur Watts of Litchfield and Joan Davis of Gillespie; and her grandchildren, Amy Aldrich (Mike), Chris Piggott (Stephanie), Rob Piggott (Shanna), Greg Piggott (Nicole), Katie Clelland, Craig Clelland (Kayla), Charlie Hicks, Michelle Hicks, Brandon Hicks (Kellan), Nick Dowdy (Nicole) and Trent Clelland. She is also survived by twenty-six great grandchildren.
The family ask that memorials be given to Union Avenue Christian Church.
