She was predeceased by: her siblings, Vera, Marlene, Gene and Ellis; her son Daniel; her close friend Lucille Solomon; and also Peter.

She is survived by: her children, Donald Volz (Beth) and Lyn Peterson (Shane); her grandchildren, Lisa Eller (Rob), Nicole Hill, Allie, Layna, Evan, Alex, Anna, Matthew Hill (Erin) and Jacqui Hill; her brother Robert Vandehey (Mary Jo); and her former husband David Volz. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
