Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Walter Kent Hower of Lincoln, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 68, on January 23, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hower and Elaine Hower; his sibling Terry Hower; and his son-in-law Ryan Williams. He is survived by: his children, Tara Comstock (Matt), Ali Williams, Kyle Hower (Caroline), Matt, Ryan and Caroline; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Owen Comstock, Harper, Barrett Williams, Nolan and Isla Hower. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
The family is being served by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln and, due to COVID safety precautions, only a small private family service is planned.
Memorials may be made in Kent's honor to the Gift of Hope, the organ and tissue donation network of Illinois.
