She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Taylor and Frances Ruby Taylor (Lowe); her husband Donald Bates; her sister Emily; and also Trevor Reece.
She is survived by: her nephews, John Reece (Gena) and Daniel Reece (Barbara); her niece Renna Kelly (Jeff); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Tommy Reece (Lynzi), Michael Reece (Brandi), Jenna Townsend (Zach), Jessica Fulk, Jeffrey Kelly (Jaedyn) and Benjamin Reece. She is also survived by 11 great-great nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Jefferson Street Christian Church or to the Oasis Senior Center.
