She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Boyer and Jeanne Boyer. She is survived by: her husband Joe Schaler; her daughter Sara Buchanan of Nashville, TN; and her siblings, Michael Boyer (Ginger) of Indianapolis, IN and Michelle Eyrse (David) of Hartsburg, IL..

This continued through her donation to Gift of Hope.
