Maxine Van Der Voort Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Van Der Voort of Lincoln, Illinois, who passed away on December 14, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl James and Fern Elder (Dingman); her husband Robert Van Der Voort; her son-in-law Michael Bushnell; her granddaughter Michelle Fields; and her brothers, Kenneth Elder and John Elder.
She is survived by: her daughters, Becky Bushnell of Buffalo, Vicki Shelley of Decatur and Lisa Hackl (Keith) of Warrensburg; her stepson Robert Van Der Voort (Joan) of Reisterstown, MD; her grandchildren, Kim Shafer (Chad), Scott Van Der Voort (Robin), Mallory Mathias (Chadd), Brette Shelley, Shannon Richards (Justin) and Jordan Hackl; her great grandchildren, Myah Fields, Jayda Fields, Nick Tsirsos, Makenzi Tsirsos, Anthony Tsirsos, Mykenzi Mathias, Madysen Mathias, Wyatt Mathias, Charlotte Mathias, Rhett Mathias, Amelia Richards, Bradyn Van Der Voort and Macyn Van Der Voort; her great great grandchildren, Nicholas Tsirsos and Tucker Tsirsos; and her sisters, Margaret Brockelsby, Marjorie Mormon, Norma Younker and Barbara Mendenhall.
Memorials in Maxine's honor may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
