It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John S. Yates of Lincoln, Illinois, who passed away on January 19, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenneth Yates and Waunita Yates (Reinhart); his children, Traci Yates of Decatur, IL., Kelly Deckard (Paul) of Champaign, IL. and Jason Yates of Lincoln, IL; and his sister Christy Lynch (Jim) of Mclean, IL.. He was also cherished by three grandchildren, 2 nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Doberman Rescue, or to the Humane Society of Logan County.
