James Willis Ryan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2020, at the age of 88, James Willis Ryan of Lincoln, Illinois, born in Odin, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Ryan and Juanita Ryan (Shinn); and his sister Theresa Morton. He is survived by: his wife Susan Thornburg; his children, Bridgett Thomas (Tony) of Lincoln, IL and Joe Ryan (Michelle) of Lincoln, IL; his brother Michael "Jerry" Ryan (Judy); his grandchildren, Marty Ryan, Brittany Cox (Rick), Andrew Ryan, Brileigh Sarnes, Emily Dunham (Mark), Ryan Thomas and Garrett Aeilts (Jorja); his great grandchildren, Ashton Sherren, Addi Sherren and Dylan Ryan; and his cousin Johnny Shinn. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will follow from 11:00am-1:00pm also at the church. (due to COVID-19 restrictions, everyone in attendance is asked to wear facemasks and observe social distancing).
Memorial donations may be made in Jim's name to Holy Family Food Pantry.
