He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel and Elsie Tibbs Jr. (Anderson); and his brother Roger Armstrong. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Raynor; his son James Tibbs II (Jenna Gibson); and his grandson Matthew James Tibbs.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Chuck's name to the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 672.
