It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry D. Edwards of Lincoln, Illinois, born in Middletown, Illinois, who passed away on October 19, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Hall and Rachel Elizabeth Edwards (Zook); and his siblings, Mary Catherine Bland and James "Chub" Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Van Fossan; his children, Troy Edwards (Becki Warren) of Atlanta, IL, Heidi Van Cleve (J. C. Rice) of New Berlin, IL, Carolyn Elizabeth Schall (Gary) and Marilyn Louise Jackson; his grandchildren, Joshua Edwards (Kelsi), Dylan Van Cleve, Sarah Curry (Matthew) and Heather Mangano (Joshua); and his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Declan, Claire and Benjamin.
Visitation for Bear will be from 11:30 a. m.-1:30 p. m. on Friday, October 23, 2020 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, IL where face mask and social distancing will be enacted.
Memorials may be made in Bear's name to the American Cancer Society or Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
