He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Winkel and Velna Winkel (Easton); and his sisters, June, Edna, Mary, Eleanor and Orleana.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Moore; his children, Larry Winkel, Thomas Winkel (Linda), Joyce Crosby (Bobby) and Debra Peirce (Gary); his brother Edgar Winkel; his grandchildren, Brittany, Sonna, Melissa and James; and his great grandchild Royce. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
