It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy J. Ellis of Lincoln, Illinois, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on January 12, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orlando B. Little and Ruth A. Little (Alverson); her husband Dr. John J. Ellis; and her siblings, Marjorie Blekking and Robert Little.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Schom (Ted) and Kenneth Ellis (Pamela); and her grandchildren, John-Jamil Khan (Chelsea), Katherine Dragon (David), Carolyn Grafton, Eden Knizacky (Matt), Emily Osburn (Garth) and Bethany Henson (Thor). She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Christian Village Auxiliary.
