He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Garry Whittaker (Susan Bailey) of Riverton, IL. and Antoinette "Toni" Whittaker (Kazakaitis); his wife Melinda Sanders; and his daughters, Alisa Whittaker of Lincoln, IL. and Breanna Whittaker.

Memorial donations may be made to Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
