He is survived by: his children, Ruth Sloot (George) of Lincoln and Ronald Cochran (Patty) of Champaign, Illinois; his grandson Ben Sloot (Katie); and his sister Muriel Palone (Rex) of Lawton, Oklahoma. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
