With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marian Ida Schobert of Lebanon, Illinois, born in Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on April 14, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsa Ogle and Walter Ogle; her husbands, Melvin Glauber and Adam Schobert (Bill); her son Thomas Charles Glauber; and her sister Elsa Cook.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Glauber (Lynn) of Hillsboro, MO, Walter Glauber (Vicki Straeter) of O'Fallon, IL, Jim Glauber (Mary Pat), Jean Hunsaker (Jeff) of Bridgeton, MO and Joan Ross (John) of Collinsville, IL. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Carmelite Sisters of the Divine Heart of Jesus, in St. Louis, MO.
