He was predeceased by: his foster parents, Clarence Bitner and Margaret Bitner; his parents-in-law, Harold and LaVerne Grapenthien; and his brothers-in-law, Roger and Gary Grapenthien.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Jason Ridgley, Lauren Roeda (Rodney) and Ryan Ridgley (Jill); his sister-in-law Helen Grapenthien (Roger); and his grandchildren, Kendall Ridgley, Clay Ridgley, Paige Ridgley, BreAnne Podgorski (Jonathan Mayo), Courtney Podgorski (Dylan Angell), Jessica Krueger (Felix), Jake Roeda (Crystal), Alex Roeda (Ashley), Hunter Ridgley, Sienna Ridgley, Braden Ridgley and Ryder Ridgley. He is also survived by two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
