He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Wooden and Zetta "Logue" Wooden; his wife Helen Moore; his son Daniel Roger Wooden, Sr.; and his siblings, Verdena Buchanan, Loretta Jamison, Raymond Wooden and Ralph Wooden.
He is survived by: his son Robert Paul Wooden (Carol) of Kinmundy; his daughter-in-law Carolyn Wooden of Iuka; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Prather (Paul) of Kinmundy, Rena Stow (Donnie McElyea) of Kinmundy, Kristina Wren (Roy) of Kinmundy, Bradley Wooden (Zennia) of Kinmundy, Daniel Roger Wooden, Jr. (Jennifer) of Iuka and David Wooden (Mattie) of Iuka; and his brother Nolan Wooden (Nora) of Kinmundy. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren.
