He was predeceased by: his mother Goldie Elizabeth Arnold (Leat); and his wife Rosetta Hoard. He is survived by: his father Reindl Baylis of Washington; his children, Ed Baylis (Karen) of Kinmundy, IL and Gloria Swift (Tom) of Alma, IL; and his granddaughters, Elizabeth Swift and Ellie Baylis.
