With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Skopik of Kankakee, Illinois, who passed away on December 28, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Skopik and Bernadette Skopik (Adams); and his daughter Kayne Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Karyn Skopik of Kankakee; his children, Todd Skopik of Bradley and Paige (John Chinski); his brother Steve; his sister-in-law Leslie Skopik of Canton, GA; his grandchildren, Samantha, Jordan, Olivia, Rylee, Ariana, Gabrielle, Emma, Dawn and Reice; and his great grandchildren, Macey, Leia, Alaina and Adilynn.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or the Illinois Veterans Home at Manteno.
