He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Shekey and Mary Shekey (Piatt); and his sisters, Beverly Nichols and Joan Shekey. He is survived by: his girlfriend Karen Coveyou; his sister Judy Smith; his nephews, Gerald Dluzak, Chad Smith and Jimmy Nichols; and his niece Stacy St. Louis.
