He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lee and Mary Jane Russell (Stevens); his niece Samantha Russell; and his grandparents, Herschel, Florence Russell, Roger and Marjorie Stevens.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Wagenblast of Kane; his children, Patrick Russell of Kane and Cyrena Russell of Hardin; his stepdaughter Christina Isringhausen of Tacoma, WA.; his brother Brad; his sister-in-law Melody Russell of Jerseyville; his sister Sheila Schmieder of Jerseyville; and his parents-in-law, Walter and Marilyn Wagenblast of Jerseyville.
Memorials may be given to Tribble Cemetery, Jerseyville Park and Recreation Department for a Tree to be planted at Wock Lake or to a fund to assist in the placement of a headstone at his gravesite, both in care of Crawford Funeral Home.
