It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lori Ann Gooch (Johnston City, Illinois), who passed away on September 24, 2021, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Burnell Wilburn and Joan Melvin (Hemminghaus); her sister Denise Montgomery; and her former husband Shawn Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Kevin Gooch; her children, Melissa Gooch, LeShawna Edwards (Henry), Jesse Watkins (Jacqueline) and Evie Barton (Matt); her grandchildren, Tristan Sine, Londyn Gooch, Austin Thompson, Alana Collier (Tyler), Cedric Jordan, Alexus, Punk Freed (Hunter), Olivia Watkins, Tyler and Trevor Edwards; her sisters, Starla Perriman (Mike), Pamela Odam (Tommy) and Angela Bean (Duane); and her stepmother Linda Ward (Ray). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and above all, her precious fur babies.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial contributions to be sent to your local no-kill animal shelter.
