He is survived by: his wife Patricia Smith of Johnston City; his children, Kimberly Mathews (Billy) of Carterville, Billie Smith of Kentucky, Brian "Lefty" Smith of Johnston City, Timothy Smith of New Hampshire, Hedy Smith of California and Amy Smith of California; his grandchildren, Drake Mathews, Erran Mathews, Corey Stritzel, Nicole Grant and Brian Smith; his great grandchildren, Abigail Smith, Dahlin Smith, Kinlie Mathews, Sarah Nofal and Allison Smith; and his sister Sharon Villegas (Ronnie) of Washington.
