With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathryn Ann Vesper of Jacksonville, Illinois, born in Staunton, Illinois, who passed away on August 4, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harold Bird and Dorothea Sander Bird; her husband Walter "Bud" Vesper; her children, Craig Vesper (Sherry) of Joliet, Michele Lynch (Ron) of Jacksonville, Brad Vesper (late Kim) of Jacksonville and Denise Vesper (Stefan) of Springfield; her grandchildren, Nikki Lutz (Justin), Brett Konrad, Alec Vesper (Samantha), Meredith Vesper (Cody) and Jonathan Vesper (Cece); her great grandchildren, Gavin Lutz, Jaxson Konrad and Jenson Konrad; her sisters, Nancy Haase, Mary Lou Schmidt (Mike) and Dodie Teel (Randy); her granddaughter Madison Cooney; and her sister Marilyn Ashton.
