She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Kolberg and Minnie Kolberg (Giertz); her husband Fred; her sons, Michael and Larry; and her siblings, Ervin Kolberg, Melvin Kolberg, Elma Buchte, Grace Schauer, Mildred Diedrick, Florence Bauman, Viola Zimmermann and Irene Wirsing.
She is survived by: her daughters-in-law, Cynthia Kahl of Pendleton, SC and Susan Kahl of Huntley; her grandchildren, Heidi van Beveren (Raymond), Heather Holmes (Michael), Bryan Kahl, Brett Kahl (Ashley) and Brittany Kahl; and her great grandchildren, Colby Carter, Grant, Gavin van Beveren, Landon Holmes, Luke, Miles Kahl and Kayden Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church of Huntley or Lake in the Hills Senior Center.
