He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Savard and Frances Savard. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Savard; his children, Scott Harris, Carla Covell (Sean) and Aaron Savard; his grandchildren, Parker Byrd, Emma Covell and Lauren Covell; his sisters, Sandra Cuthbertson (Tom) and Susan Remmik (Ralph); and his sisters-in-law, Pat Lechman, Susan Schaefer (Roger), Joe Liebig (Dori) and Linda Villemarette (Ned). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
