He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kalitowski and Estelle Breault. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his children, Kristin Kowal (Joseph) and Kevin Kalitowski (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Alton, Lexie, Evie and Lorelei; and his brother Joseph "Don" Kalitowski (Jean). He is also survived by husband, father, and grandpa.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Huntley Animal House Shelter or American Cancer Society.
