It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Michael Landi of Hoffman Estates, Illinois, who passed away on March 11, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Karen Landi; his children, Michael Landi (Kim) and Kristine Sobieski (Geoffrey); his grandchildren, Avery, Alexandra, Wesley and Myles; his brothers, Charles Landi and Robert Landi (Kathy); his sisters-in-law, Janice Young (Stanley), Roberta Conboy (Phil) and June Anderson (Edward); and his mother-in-law June.

“Our deepest condolences to Tom’s family……we are a German soccer family….our 4 kids played soccer in the 80’s and 90’s. Tom was one of the many refs that we had. We got to know him, because he was such a nice person, besides being a soccer ref, which is not always an easy job when you’re dealing with ethnic people on the sidelines. Every time we saw him, let it have been in the 80’s or 90’s, he remembered us, just like we never forgot him. So very sorry for your loss……”
