He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie and Mary; his wife Beatrice (Bea); his stepson Robert; his children-in-law, Wally, Frank, Sandy and Nancy; his grandson Samuel; and his siblings, Edward, Hank, Jimmy, Joe, Ernie, Julian, Bernadette and Rita.
He is survived by: his sister MaryAnn; his brother-in-law George; and his nieces and nephews, Mary, Threasa, Darlene (Rich), Louie (Bernice), Patricia (David), Rita (Dan), Frank (Wendy), William, Rosemary (Emad), Joseph (Dawn), John (Becky) and Mike (Barb). He is also survived by his 25 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the VA, as Hawkeye had a deep appreciation for supporting fellow veterans.
