It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Mattern of Highland Park, Illinois, who passed away on August 3, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Janet; his children, Laura Willis (Mark) and Daniel Mattern (Roxana); his grandchildren, Erin Noland (David) and Sam Willis; and his siblings, Mary Jo Jenkins and Jeff Mattern. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
