She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Tate and Ola Lucille Tate (Clevenger); her husband William Paul "Bill" Sonneborn; and her son-in-law Randy Starkey. She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Dugan (Ron) of Hettick, IL and Janna Tetzlaff (Larry) of Hettick, IL; her sisters, Joyce Cooksey of Hettick, IL and Patricia Clark (Lloyd "Buck") of Hettick, IL; her grandchildren, Mike Dugan (Beth), Jeff Dugan (Abir), Courtney Dugger (Gary) and Kelsey Sanson (Dalton); and her great grandchildren, Jacob Reese, Makenah Dugan, Reed Dugger, Dash, Kypp Sanson, Letty and Ida Dugan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Hettick Cemetery or Hettick Community Club.
