It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Jo Gardner of Herscher, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on July 22, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorlas Sr. Hays and Freida Hays (Flowers); her husband Ronald Gardner; and her brother Dorlas "Buck" Hays Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Kepplinger of Herscher and Kyle Gardner (Erica Farman) of Limestone; her grandchildren, Victoria Kepplinger of Hanover, MI, Gavin Gardner of Limestone, Bryson Gardner of Limestone and Colton Gardner of Limestone; and her cousin Barb McCoy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
