He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Calvin and Norma Mary Riddle (Purdue); and his wife Peggy Reed. He is survived by: his daughters, Robin Moore (Scott) of Johnston City, Lela Mocaby (Paul Walnut Hill) and Kim Newsome of Makanda; his grandchildren, Scott Jr., Shana Bebout (Nick), Jennifer Amaro (Brett), Jason Newsom, Ryan Newsome, Amy Palmer (Randy) and Adam Macoby; his great grandchildren, Kalya Bebout, Laynee Bebout, Edelia, Felicia, Willow Amaro Scott Moore III, Payton and Dakota Palmer; and his great great grandchild Bennett Young.
