It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ronald Lee King of Herrin, Illinois, born in Du Quoin, Illinois, who passed away on September 19, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Lee and Betty Jean King (Axley); his stepmother Dimple King; and his siblings, Doris Walters, Steve King and Mike Oliver.

He is survived by: his children, Suzann King of Fort Myers, FL and Tim King of Scottsdale, AZ; his grandson Sgt. Zachary King-Adams; and his siblings, Geraldine Smith (Dick) of Port Orange, FL, Chuck King of Sparta, Rick King (Vickie Holmes) and Jerry King (Jeana) of West Frankfort.

Friends may make memorials to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at the funeral home.
