He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Newman and Esther Newman (Nauman); his former wife Violet R. Wrozier; his wife Sue Woolard Bonali; and his brothers, Albert Newman, Elbert Newman, Hobert Newman and Herbert Newman.
He is survived by: his sons, Terry Newman of Sesser, IL and Robert; his daughter-in-law Robin Newman of Herrin, IL; his stepdaughters, Traci Bonali of Florida and Terri Purcell (Matt) of Carterville, IL; his grandchildren, Kelly Lindsey (Shaun), Robby Newman, Brittany Lockhart (James), Lynsey Workman (Phillip), Falan Miles (Kalen), Ethan Newman (Miriam), Harley Newman, Reese Newman Kali Stokes, James Wright, Brendan Purcell, Lauren Purcell, Jace Purcell and Kate Purcell; his great grandchildren, Sawyer Lockhart, Lydia Lockhart, Lucy Workman, Caden Milles, Vance Miles, Reed Miles, Able Newman, Silas Newman, Violet Newman and Macy Stokes; and his siblings, Hubert Newman of Warrenton, MO and Esther Swafford of Stoney Hill, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
