He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank T. Harper and Sally V. Harper (Fuller); his son Mark Allen Harper; and his siblings, Rice Harper, Dewitt Harper, Jerry Harper, Gertrude Harper, Mattie Mae Harper, Ruby Miller and Maurine Doss.
He is survived by: his son Rev. Jack; his daughter-in-law Diane Harper of Herrin; his grandchildren, Michelle McLain (Judd) of Goreville and Brandon Harper (Cathryn) of West Frankfort; and his great grandchildren, Sarah McLain of St. Louis, MO, Hayden McLain of Goreville, Emma McLain of Goreville, Elijah Watkins of West Frankfort and Jaxson Harper of West Frankfort.
