Eilene Smiley Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2022, at the age of 84, Eilene Smiley of Herrin, Illinois, born in Equality, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James O'Neal and Georgia O'Neal (Kitchen); her children, James Smiley, Marla Frasier and Darrell Smiley; her siblings, Ed O'Neal, R. C. O'Neal, Leon O'Neal and Pauline West; her granddaughters, Chasity Grant and Karen Jo Smiley; and her stepbrothers, Buck O'Neal, Claude "Spud" O'Neal, Joe O'Neal and Bill O'Neal (Imogene Kitchen).
She is survived by: her children, Amanda Diane McCoy of Las Vegas, NV, Gwen Bolte (Steven) of Herrin, IL, Jeff Smiley of Golconda, IL and Donna McCarthy of Marion, IL; her stepchildren, Jack Smiley and Kathy Smiley of Harrisburg, IL; and her sister Shirley Massey of Panama City, FL. She is also survived by her 17 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 13 great great grandchildren.
