With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rosemary Burgett of Havana, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Bridges and Mary Bridges (Williams); and her spouse Dallas "Bud" Burgett. She is survived by: her children, Debra Bishop (Chris) of Havana, DeEtta Martorana (Carl) of Port Charlotte and David Burgett (April) of Astoria; her grandchildren, Erica Braden (Ray), Savannah and Anabelle Burgett; her great grandchild Hank Braden; her siblings, Vivian Towery of Havana and David Bridges of Southern Illinois; and her siblings-in-law, Karen Pierson Bridges of Havana, Chester of Havana and Robert Fawcett of Havana.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hurley Funeral Home - Havana (217 N Plum St, Havana, IL 62644). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in Rosemary's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
