He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Anderson-Hughes and James L. Glen; his stepfather Rev. Walter J. Hughes; his children, Monica Anderson and Paul Anderson; and his brother Joseph.
He is survived by: his siblings, Natalie, Deborah Hughes-Barnett (Jerry), Walter J. Hughes, Jr. (Marlene), Francine Hughes-Collins (Akima) and Sharon Glen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
