He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gladys; his children, Paula, Preddis (Elisa), Michael (Vicki), Sterling (Karen), Erin, Regina (Billy) and Sade; his grandchildren, Brandon (Jacqueline), Bryce, Jordan, Micah, Mason, Payton, Sterling Jr., Christiane, Amara and Jayda; his great grandchildren, Anthony and Evalyn; his godchildren, Jeanette, Cindy (Lee), Robert, Layton (Karlie) and Jeremy; his brother Homer (Shirley); and his brother-in-law Samuel (Clara). He was also cherished by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
