She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Mamie Moran; her children, Darlene Eichelberger (Charles Eicherberger) and Carl Carter; her sister Bernice Jones; her grandchildren, Shannon Carter, Ronald Carey Jr., Gina Jones, Steven Hardison, Tomarra Lewis, Latoya Lewis and Edward Rice; her children, Janice Carter, Orville Carey Jr. and Ronald Carey; and her grandsons, Darius Lewis and Larry Alderson. She was also cherished by Her children remember her as 'Nanny' and 'Gram'.
